March Chief Rabban’s Message

The circus is coming! The circus is coming!

Things are already getting busy for the 71st annual Abu Bekr Shrine Circus. Elementary schools are already replying to Barb for their reservations. Coloring book ads are coming in. Noble coupons will be going out about March 1. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and we hope you will purchase the coupons and help at the Tyson Events Center also.

The first show will be Wednesday, April 12, at 7 p.m. This performance will have all seats for only $10. No coupons will be accepted for this, but one must get a reserved ticket at the Tyson Events Center box office for that performance. Ushers and various other jobs are always needed to be filled, so don’t be a stranger at any of the seven performances.

The other performance times are:

7 p.m. on Thursday, April 13

11 a.m. on Friday, April 14

7 p.m. on Friday, April 14

11 a.m. on Saturday, April 15

4 p.m. on Saturday, April 15 followed by a picnic

2 p.m. on Sunday, April 16

The lanyard system will again be used for attendance purposes. Get a lanyard and sign in on the proper line for that number and be ready to work. Remember to return them AFTER each performance and DON’T take them home. We know who you are! The circus workers’ dinner will be on Saturday, April 29.

Again, dues are always an annual topic. Please be sure that yours are current. You can now download your current dues card on your Smart Phone. If you have any problems, we will try to help you at the circus.

See you at the circus!

Colin Ross, Chief Rabban
