All About
The Harlan “T” Patrol was organized in 1961 when members of the Harlan Shrine Club decided to form a motorized unit. A bright red miniature model “T” go cart was purchase and displayed at a dinner at the Harlan Country Club. A shot time later twelve little cars were ordered and the Harlan “T” Patrol was off and running. Members of the Harlan “T” Patrol hail from many of the surrounding towns of the Harlan area. The “T” Patrol participate in several parades throughout the area during the summer months having fun while entertaining the crowds with their “snappy” little drills. The “T” Patrol has always been greeted by the public with smiles and applause as the roll down the parade route. The Patrol has several parade awards over the years. The “T” Patrol also holds several social functions throughout the year. The purpose of the Harlan “T” Patrol is to promote Shrinedom and having fun participating in parades and at social activities.
